Coming Soon: The Face of Leadership™ BC Tech Score Card

Minerva BC is excited to announce the latest counterpart to our Face of Leadership™ Initiative, the BC Tech Score Card. The Score Card will measure the percentage of women in BC’s technology industry in an effort to address gender inequalities.

Last week, we had the pleasure of bringing together the community of supporters behind our Indigenous Roots program to celebrate a successful pilot year. From parents, nominating sponsors, donors, partner organizations, and participants, there were plenty of stories of collaboration and gratitude to fill the Musqueam Cultural Centre Gallery.

Minerva BC would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those who attended our Heart Centred Leadership Luncheon last week. The event was a great success, raising Minerva BC over $60,000 to continue delivering leadership programs for women and girls across the province.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at last week’s Autumn Alumnae event at The Latest Scoop in Gastown. The evening was a resounding success! We were inspired by the vibrant energy emanating from all the strong women who filled the room with their conversation and chic style.

In partnership with Women’s Enterprise Centre, Minerva BC launched the first WE for SHE NextGen Leaders full-day event at Khalsa School.

Congratulations to Leigh Wall and Carmen Landsdowne for winning awards to attend the current session of Women Leading the Way™.

On September 8th, 2017, Status of Women Canada announced $2.2 million dollars in funding for gender equality projects. Minerva BC was one of 7 organizations to receive funding in British Columbia.

With Indigenous Roots wrapping a successful pilot year, we’d like to take a moment to express our gratitude for all the partners who helped to make this program possible.

After three weeks of canoeing and camping along the Sechelt Inlet and Gambier Island, our Indigenous Roots girls are happy to be home to share stories from their unique experience.
