Making meaningful connections between youth and business leaders

The Program

Making Space for Youth Leadership is a 10-month intergenerational learning program that brings together young women, transgender and non-binary youth, with business leaders from across BC.

The program gives young people the opportunity to learn and develop leadership skills. Youth will collaborate with established leaders to co-create a “learning exchange” in their community.

What You Will Gain

    – An understanding of youth experience and perspectives
    – Coaching skills with the Roy Group
    – An expanded network of positive relationships with other business leaders and inspired youth
    – An appreciation for diverse youth leaders in your community

Is This You?

This program is designed for young people ages 16-24, and business leaders who are committed to the intentional inclusion of youth leaders in their communities. We welcome self-identified women, transgender and non-binary people to apply.

No previous leadership training or experience is required for youth participants.

Priority will be given to applicants from Metro Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Prince George, and Kamloops.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

This 10-month program starts February 2023 and will run to November 2023. 

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

The estimated time commitment for this program is 2-3 hours per week to maximize your connections and learning. The interactive online workshops scheduled between Feb-June and Sep-Nov will take place on Thursday evenings at 6pm PT. Stay tuned for detailed program schedule.
