This Sunday, June 21 is National Aboriginal Day – a day to recognize and celebrate the history and cultures of Aboriginal people in Canada. Leading up to the day, CBC Radio has been featuring Aboriginal women’s personal stories of strength and success as part of their Dream Makers series. We were delighted that they featured our very own Lisa Tallio, Director of our Combining Our Strength™ initiative, as well as two Minerva alumnae – Laurie Sterritt and Annita Mcphee – on their series!
Check out Dream Makers series highlights and interviews here:

Congratulations to Lisa, Laurie and Annita!
There are lots of events taking place this weekend to recognize National Aboriginal Day. In Vancouver on Saturday, there’s a full day event at Canada Place, and on Sunday there’s a full day event at Trout Lake! Be sure to check them out – we’ll see you there.
