What a wonderful way for us to wrap up 2013 by congratulating our very own, Lisa Vogt, for being recognized among Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women!
What a pleasure it was to see the spotlight on 100 of Canada’s most powerful women who are leading the way and making a difference in Canada. Among these women is one of Minerva’s Board of Directors, Lisa Vogt.
Lisa is a Co Vice-Chair on the Board of Directors for The Minerva Foundation for BC Women, and was recently honoured among Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women! This is the second time that the Partner and Chief Diversity and Engagement Officer at McCarthy Tétrault LLP has received this recognition from the Women’s Executive Network.
“Being recognized among the women named for this award is a tremendous honour,” says Lisa. “We all owe an enormous debt to the senior women leaders who went before us. As a result, I am also focused on providing intentional support for the women who follow.
Minerva’s vision to change the face of leadership resonates so strongly for me,” she continues. “It is an organization of women and men working together with the common purpose of ensuring that our daughters have equal opportunities with our sons to contribute to our communities.”
We are so fortunate to have Lisa’s wisdom and guidance as we work together to support the next generation of women and girls reach their leadership potential.
