Exciting personal leadership opportunity for BC women

Minerva wrapped up another successful Learning to Lead™ BC program this weekend, and is now gearing up for the Learning to Lead™ Combining Our Strength™ program coming up in July!

If you are an Aboriginal or non-Aboriginal woman from BC residing in one of the communities listed below and would like to advance your personal leadership development, this FREE opportunity is for you. Through a series of workshops held over a weekend in Vancouver, you will discover self, connect with others, and move forward with a deeper knowledge of your values and passions.

The workshops include: Self Awareness, Public Speaking, Conflict Resolution, Values-based Leadership and Community Planning

“One of the most enriching, self-motivating and confidence building opportunities. I felt supported and believed in myself because others believed in me.” – L2L COS past participant

We are accepting 8 participants from each of the following communities:
– Fort St. John/Chetwynd (Blueberry River, Saulteau and West Moberly First Nations)
– Lower Mainland (Tsleil Waututh Nation)
– Kamloops
– Prince Rupert (Metlakatla First Nation)
– Kitimat/Terrace (Kitselas and Kitsumkalum First Nations)

Minerva will be hosting information sessions in select communities. Keep your eye out for details and learn more about the Learning to Lead™ COS program here.

Learning to Lead™ COS will take place at St. John’s College at UBC in Vancouver from July 4 – 6, 2014. Women 19 years and older are invited to apply. We are accepting applications on a rolling basis – apply now to secure your spot!
