Minerva flourishes in the company of good friends

We are still revelling from our evening shared with close friends and dear supporters. A heartfelt thank you to the Minerva community for joining us at flourish with their generous spirit and keen interest in our progress.

The room was full of warmth, connectivity and the buzz of common goals. The presentation from the podium was deeply moving, with alumnae from our programs sharing their stories. Nicole Cardinal described on video how the education she received through the Combining Our Strength™initiative not only inspired her career path, but transformed her entire life. Zoya Jiwa from Learning to Lead™ BC reminded us of the power of gratitude and how to turn obstacle into opportunity. It was an honour to hear how Minerva has had such a positive impact in their lives.

A big thanks to our presenting sponsor, HSBC, for being such a supportive partner. The remarkable keynote speech made by Tej Singh Hazra, Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Graduate Development at HSBC, was a timely affirmation of our common goals. We are honoured to be working together with these partners to change the face of leadership in BC.

We’d also like to thank KPMG our music sponsor, for providing the glorious harpist! Another highlight was snapping pictures of our guests as they reconnected at the photo booth – check out the photos below! It is at events like flourish where the Minerva team can really give thanks. Thank you for the difference you make. May we all flourish on this path together.
